How to Fix
Coolant crossover tube replacement (Motorcraft updated metal-flange part) — $300-$600 at independent. Recommend simultaneous replacement of thermostat housing, all plastic coolant fittings, and the degas bottle while the upper intake is off. Use Motorcraft Premium Gold (Zerex G-05) coolant only — Dex-Cool is incompatible.
